Engage, Explore, Utilize, Expand, Foster

This afternoon, we had a prep call for the upcoming Harm, Healing, and Human Dignity conference, sponsored by the Catholic Mobilizing Network. Like virtually every aspect of 2020, the event organizers pivoted to make it, well, virtual. I’ll be presenting on the last day of the event, participating in a panel titled, Responses to Clergy Abuse. I’m excited to be part of the program, and to spend the rest of that afternoon as a circlekeeper, in this extremely well organized event. I’ve done my share of conferences and events, as a planner and an attendee, and I have not been involved in one as buttoned up as this one! Caitlin Morneau, Krisanne Vaillancourt Murphy and the team deserve big kuddos for everything that has gone into making this event virtual and highly interactive. They also deserve a celebration Saturday evening when they call it a wrap! The values for the conference are engage, explore, utilize, expand and foster. I look forward to posting more next week.
